Reliable Hardwood Floor Refinishes

We follow a thorough plan for your hardwood floor refinishing, ensuring you get the superior results you expect without extra services you don't need. That's why we offer two different options for refinishing: one that involves floor sanding, staining and one that doesn't. Depending on your floors’ style and condition, our team will make recommendations and, once approved, apply the correct process.

Our Hardwood Refinishing Process

Hardwood Floor Refinish (Extensive Damage)

If your floors require extensive work, they will need to be sanded and repaired before we can add your chosen finish. We seal the room in order to prevent the spread of dust, sand everything down to bare wood, and repair all gouges, stains, and gaps to make it as smooth as possible. Your floor is then cleaned, and a coating of polyurethane is added and allowed to dry overnight. The next day, the floor is lightly sanded smooth, cleaned, and a second coat is added. On the third day, the floor will be buffed with a synthetic pad, and then a third coat is applied.

Hardwood Floor Refinish (Minor Damage)

When your floors could use some TLC but don’t need a complete refinish, the process becomes a lot easier. Our team will thoroughly clean your floors before “sanding” the floor with liquid etcher and an abrasive pad to remove minor scratches. From there, we clean the floors to remove the etcher and then apply your finish. Your floors will look as good as new in no time. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
